I'm a developer, designer, and strategist who crafts meaningful digital experiences.
Right now, I'm focused on making things that integrate generative AI. Here are some prototypes from the past couple months:
- Knowledge Generator — Generate long-form documents about a given topic, intended to be fed into NotebookLM as a source. Great for the Audio Overview feature.
- Reading Practice — Generate novel stories with illustrations for young learners of all reading levels using their own vocabulary words, characters, and settings. (Read the full case study here.)
- AI-assisted Brainstorming Tool — Generate and iterate on concepts with small language models, inspired by a few recent research papers.
- ER Case Simulation — Promotes adaptive expertise with ER interns by exposing them to an infinite number of simulated patient scenarios. Link coming soon.

I've worked at a lot of places in my 20+ year career and played a lot of roles.
Most recently, I was the Director of AI Research & Development at Instrument. Which is a fancy way of saying I ran a small team of creative technologists that did a lot of experimentation with generative AI systems.
We made prototypes that people could play with. A lot of them had to do with personalization.
- One teaches you how to use AI in your life.
- One shows how AI can spark inspiration.
- One adapts content to your needs and interests.
- One makes info more digestible and actionable.
I've also experimented with how we could use large multimodal language models to rethink brand guidelines. I made an app called Stori that drafted case studies to showcase our work at Instrument. And I prototyped a system for analyzing user research data, surfacing findings, and recommending next steps.
There was no shortage of ideas to explore, just a lack of time to pursue them all.
